Gadhada I-15: Not Becoming Discouraged in Meditation

On the 17th, at 1:50pm, Yogiji Mahārāj had Vachanāmrut Gadhadā I-15 read and said, “Perceiving human traits in God and the Sant are impure thoughts. The Satpurush destroys other types of thoughts, but to destroy these thoughts is difficult.

“What does God’s extraordinary greatness mean?

“To understand the greatness of Akshar along with Purushottam - that is an extraordinary greatness. Everyone understand the greatness of Mahārāj alone. But in this (Akshar along with Purushottam), there is the manifest. I have attained Akshar with Purushottam - we should feel fulfilled with that attainment.

“If one becomes aksharrup then one will be able to behold God in their heart. People from American went to the moon. They became egotistic from spending hundreds of thousands of shillings and bringing back dirt (from the moon). If they had brought back gold bricks, then that would have been an accomplishment. But we should look at their virtue - they put in great effort. Similarly, we should put effort in beholding God’s murti.”

તા. ૧૭મીએ બપોરે ૧-૫૦ વાગે, ગઢડા પ્રથમનું ૧૫મું વચનામૃત વંચાવી વાત કરતાં સ્વામીશ્રીએ કહ્યું:

“ભગવાન ને સંતમાં મનુષ્યભાવ આવી જાય એ ભૂંડા ઘાટ-સંકલ્પ. ઓલ્યા બીજા સંકલ્પો તો સત્પુરુષ ટાળી દે, પણ આ ટાળવા કઠણ છે.

“ભગવાનનો મોટો મહિમા એટલે શું?

“અક્ષરે સહિત પુરુષોત્તમનો મહિમા સમજવો એ મોટો મહિમા. ખાલી મહારાજનો મહિમા તો સૌ સમજે છે. આમાં પ્રગટનો સંબંધ આવ્યો. અક્ષરે સહિત પુરુષોત્તમ મને મળ્યા છે – એમ પૂર્ણકામપણું માનવું.

“અક્ષરરૂપ થાય તો જ હૈયામાં ભગવાન ધરાય. ચંદ્ર ઉપર અમેરિકાના જનો ગયા. લાખો શિલિંગ ખર્ચ્યા તેમને તેનું માન આવ્યું, ‘અમે ધૂળ લઈ આવ્યા.’ સોનાની ઈંટ લાવે ત્યારે સાચી. પણ આપણે તેનો ગુણ એટલો લેવો કે એણે કેટલો દાખડો કર્યો! તેમ આપણે પુરુષોત્તમની મૂર્તિ ધારવામાં દાખડો કરવો.”
